Meet the Jury

Martin Ott, Managing Director Central Europe at Facebook

As Managing Director Central Europe at Facebook, Martin Ott is responsible for the development of Facebook’s business in the region Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux
and Eastern Europe.   Prior to joining Facebook in 2012, Martin built one of Europe‘s fastest growing payment unicorns as the Co-Chief Executive Office of Skrill Group in London. With 30M users, Skrill (formerly known as Moneybookers) was an early pioneer in offering global money transfer services.From 2003 to 2007, he was the COO of Jamba/Jamster, where he was responsible for marketing, service, content as well as for building and operating the consumer business across North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, leading up to the groups’s acquisition by
News Corporation.  Martin studied International Business at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar, the Finance Academy in Moscow and Keio Business School in Tokyo. A father of three girls, Martin is passionate about children’s and women‘s rights and education as well as cultural diversity. He supports the board of trustees of AfriKids, a London headquartered
NGO which supports sustainable development projects in Ghana.


Greg Russell, Partner Manager at Facebook

Greg Russell is a Partner Manager for Facebook based in Dublin. In his role he is responsible for establishing and building agency relationships and acting as a consultative partner in helping clients adopt the correct solutions and ultimately grow their business. Prior to that, he worked as an Account Manager at MediaCom in Edinburgh. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Manchester and a Masters in Marketing from the University of Edinburgh.

Ania Helseth, Policy Manager at Facebook, Brussels

Ania Helseth is a Policy Manager for Facebook in Brussels. In her role she is responsible for evaluating various digital policy developments at the EU level as well as for formulating of the company's positions, focusing especially on the connectivity and intermediary liability issues. Prior to that, she served as a Policy Advisor in the Telecoms Unit at the Permanent Representation of Poland to the EU and also as an MEP advisor in the 2004-2009 legislature. She holds a Masters in Law degree from Oxford University.

Cara Nig Fhearraigh, EMEA Policy Programs at Facebook

Cara Nig Fhearraigh works on our Policy Programs teams, helping to drive policy programs in EMEA with a special focus on Small and Medium Enterprises. Prior to this, she worked as a Policy Manager with a leading communications firm based in Brussels, with a focus on highly regulated industries. She also worked with the European Commission in translation and inter-institutional affairs. Cara holds bachelors’ degree from Trinity College Dublin in English Literature and Modern Irish, and M.A. in Communications from University College Dublin.
