Alumni Leadership Award supported by AXA

The Alumni Leadership Award is awarded to individuals, who demonstrate outstanding leadership skills, which impact their team and the JA company. With this award, JA Alumni Europe wishes to recognise and honour the personal strength of the individuals in a successful team.

Furthermore, the award aims to bring renewed attention and visibility to the alumni network and the importance of sustaining the passion for entrepreneurship, and staying connected, even after a JA Europe programme has come to an end.

Award Criteria

Three former participants and current board members of JA Alumni Europe will make up the jury and evaluate all participants individually based on their:

• Leadership skills

• Role-model behaviour

• Team solidarity

• Enthusiasm, also known as alumni spirit

After an initial selection, approximately 20 achievers will be selected and interviewed.

 

Jury 2018:

Cesar Salazar
Global HR Project Manage, AXA

Cesar Salazar currently serves as the Global Lead of Culture Measurement for the AXA Group. In Cesar’s role, he oversees AXA’s strategy on measuring all aspects of its culture globally, and measuring feedback from employees on how they view AXA as a place to work. Cesar also leads AXA’s Alliance for Youth, AXA’s work to combat youth unemployment across Europe in partnership with 50 other organizations.  From 2014 – 2016, Cesar worked with AXA US in New York City. First as an HR Data Analyst then as an HR Business Partner for AXA US’s distribution business. Cesar studied Forensic Psychology at John Jay University and Organizational Behavior at New York University.

Jeremie Berthon
Chief of Staff & Project Manager to Group Chief Innovation Officer, AXA

Jeremie Berthon is currently the Chief of Staff to AXA’s Global Head Innovation. In Jeremie’s role, he undertakes special projects, advancing AXA’s Innovation model and helping transform the experience customers have with AXA from a Payer to Partner. Prior to that, From 2014 – 2017, Jeremie served as Communications Senior Manager in charge of multimedia strategy and content at AXA US, based in New York City. He initially joined AXA in 2013 as Media Relations Manager within the Marketing & Communications department at AXA US. Previously, he served as media relations officer for a prominent politician leader in France.  Jeremie studied Marketing Communications at ISC Paris and Business Communications at New York University’s School of Professional Studies.
